Veterans, active-duty military, and family members are part of the PLF family at both locations. Whether you’re interested in volunteer opportunities or riding lessons, you are welcome here!
PLF also offers customized one-time and recurring group programs to veterans groups and other community organizations. Please email info@promiselandingfarm.com for more information.
Maryland Veterans
Veterans who are Maryland residents ride for free thanks to a grant from the Maryland Veterans Service Animal Program! Sign up using the Rider Application above and be sure to indicate that you are a veteran.
Wounded Warrior Program
WWP funds 10 riding lessons for eligible warriors and family members. Register here and then request a referral to Promise Landing Farm to take advantage of this opportunity. WWP funding can be used at either PLF location.
Operation Tohidu
Join our friends at Melwood Veterans Services for a holistic, outdoor adventure-based retreat designed to guide participants in finding Peace with the Past, through Power in the Present. PLF provides equine-assisted activities for each Operation Tohidu retreat.
