Riding Program Benefits
Accredited Instructors
Our certified therapeutic riding instructors (CTRIs) are accredited through PATH International. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our programs, using volunteer support, adaptive equipment, and a variety of teaching strategies to ensure that all participants can be successful and maximize their independence. This holistic approach ensures that every rider receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
We offer both private and semi-private lessons to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. Semi-private lessons are carefully matched by skill level, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment for all riders. At Promise Landing Farm, we believe in the power of community and inclusivity, and we never divide students by diagnosis. Instead, we focus on each individual's unique abilities and goals, fostering a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem.
Learn Life Skills
Our inclusive riding programs at Promise Landing Farm go beyond physical riding skills. They aim to develop assertiveness, emotional awareness, empathy, stress tolerance, problem-solving, self-actualization, independence, self-esteem, social responsibility, interpersonal relationships, body awareness, balance, and muscle tone. We encourage our riders to be active participants throughout our facility, joining social groups and clubs, and becoming integral members of our community.
