Our Facilities

Promise Landing Farm has two locations. PLF Headquarters is situated on 115 acres in Upper Marlboro, MD; conveniently located between the Baltimore, Annapolis, and DC metropolitan areas.  PLF at the Melwood Recreation Center (MRC) leases 5.5 acres from the Melwood Recreation Center, a 109-acre camp and recreation area in Nanjemoy, MD.

PLF HQ Facility and Amenities:

  • 20 oversized, matted stalls with windows, fans, and a fly spray system

  • 110’ x 220’ stadium lit indoor arena with Travel Right footing directly attached to the barn

    • Indoor mounting ramp

  • 120’ x 210’ outdoor arena with Travel Right all weather footing and watering system

    • Outdoor mounting platform

  • Access to wooded trails and fields

  • 5 wash stalls and 1 grooming stall allow multiple places to prepare horses for lessons, either individually or in groups

  • ADA accessible restroom

  • Lounge with climate-controlled viewing area

  • Second open-air viewing area

PLF @ MRC Facility Amenities:

  • 7 stalls with fans

  • 70’ x 200’ indoor arena with sand/rubber footing

    • Covered mounting ramp adjacent to arena

  • Direct access to 10 miles of trails and fields for hacking on the MRC property

  • Cross-ties in the barn aisle allow multiple places to prepare horses for lessons, either individually or in groups

  • ADA accessible restrooms on-site

  • Climate-controlled viewing area
